90 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND INNOVATION

Fi.Mo.Tec. was founded in Italy in 1933. Its industrial history began with the introduction of wall plugs: new products that transformed the cable fixing market. Since then, the company’s search for innovative solutions continues to be our main driver.

1933
The introduction of wall plugs kick-starts the industrial history of Fi.Mo.Tec.

1985
Fi.Mo.Tec. invents cable clamps. A new adventure in the world of telecom infrastructure begins.

1997
Fi.Mo.Tec. foreign turnover exceeds domestic turnover for the first time.

2000
From Fi.Mo.Tec. to the FIMO Group: FIMO Deutschland is established.

2004
The FIMO Group expands into France: EMC Système is acquired and becomes FIMO France.

With the acquisition of Kitting Telecom, the FIMO Group expands its range to include camouflage solutions for poles and rooftop installations.

2008
Fimo expands outside of Europe: FIMO India is established.

2011
Fimo lands on the American continent: FIMO USA is created.

2015
The FIMO Group is acquired by IGI Private Equity fund.

2017
With the acquisition of Polyform and its integration in Kitting Telecom, the range of solutions for concealing is completed.

2018
DCE Sistemi joins FIMO Group, introducing a new product line dedicated to interconnection systems.

2020
FIMO Group is acquired by the Wise Equity fund.

2022
With the acquisition of Volx international, FIMO Group becomes the clear European leader for concealing and accessories for rooftop.

2023
FIMO Group defines a new set up, with 4 different business units: FIMO Components, FIMO Tower, FIMO Rooftop and FIMO Solutions.
